Warehouse and logistics in the real world: where the scanner earns its keep

Four scan heads, one high rack: when the long-range PDA actually pays off

Standard, mid-range, extended-range and UHF — what each head really reads at 5, 8 and 10 metres, the rack-height bands where the cheap option wins, and the payback arithmetic that decides the order.

Last-mile POD: why the delivery scan fails at the door, and how to spec hardware that survives a franchise

Why "IP68" tells you nothing about whether a tablet works on deck

The devices marketed hardest as waterproof often have the dimmest panels. On a working deck at midday that combination is unusable, and brightness is only the first of five ways a tablet fails at sea.

Short answers

If you would rather read a paragraph than an article

Three things buyers ask before they read anything else.
