Deployment

Where it deploys — use, markets, bands, preparation

Smaller PTZ body for temporary incident sites — In deployment it is the unit that leaves the warehouse with the first vehicle and is on the incident network before the second arrives.

HOW IT IS USED

  • Incident command post: map, CCTV feed and radio intercom in one screen at the roadside.
  • Search & rescue logging: tracks, waypoints and photo evidence time-stamped for the after-action report.
  • Casualty / asset tracking: units report position over cellular; GPS logs are stored locally when the link drops and replayed on reconnect.
  • Drills and pre-plans: the same device runs the training scenario library between real events.

MARKETS & WHY

Philippines / Indonesia

Typhoon and earthquake response agencies; cellular is unreliable exactly when needed — satellite variant recommended.

Chile / Peru / Mexico

Seismic agencies and municipal civil defence; units interface with existing CAD/dispatch systems.

Africa (Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana)

Flood and security response; long battery life matters more than screen size.

Middle East (UAE, Saudi)

Civil defence tenders specify IP67+, MIL-810 and Arabic UI — all supported.

RADIO & BANDS

CellularLTE B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B28/B40/B41 (global variant) + 5G NR n1/n3/n28/n41/n78 on 5G models
Satellite (variant)Tiantong S-band or L-band per the approved variant
Short-rangeWi-Fi 6 hotspot mode · Bluetooth 5.x · (Mesh radio variant where ordered)

WATCH-OUTS

  • Define the failure mode you are buying against: tower overload (cellular congestion) needs priority/RES Speaker features from the carrier, not just a rugged handset.
  • Satellite airtime contracts must be in place before the drill, not after the event.
  • Charging in the field: vehicle inverters and power banks must be sized for the real draw — specify with us.
  • Data sovereignty: incident video and location logs may need to stay in-country; choose the on-prem server option where required.

WHAT TO PREPARE

  • SIM/airtime per unit plus a satellite plan for the fallback variant.
  • Carrier priority or QoS profile for emergency traffic, where the operator offers it.
  • Vehicle docks and spare batteries sized to 24-72 h autonomy.
  • Integration: CAD/dispatch API details so the unit's reports land in the existing system.

Bands listed are the default SKUs for each market — final frequency/certification confirmation against the local operator is part of the quotation.

The models below run the same firmware branch but take a different accessory set. Ask for a side-by-side sheet if the choice comes down to screen size, scan range or OS.

Questions about the B130

Before you order

Stock, configuration, software compatibility and what happens when a unit fails. The answer comes from the person who configured it.

All questions
01Who is behind this site?
Bastion Rugged is the trading front of Bright Alliance Tech Limited, Shenzhen. We design and build rugged mobile hardware — barcode scanning, UHF RFID, NFC, biometric capture — and we sell it to system integrators and solution providers rather than to consumers. The tooling, PCB and antenna work happen with our own engineering team, not through a trading desk.
02Can you supply five units for a pilot?
Yes. A pilot is the normal entry point. We quote single units at sample pricing and support the pilot with spare parts on the same order — a spare battery and a cradle, not a pallet.
03Do the Android units ship with GMS?
Most Android models ship with GMS. For builds where Google services must be absent, we supply a GMS-free firmware on the same hardware — say so at the quotation stage, because it is a firmware decision, not a setting.
04What warranty do you give?
One year as standard, covering the unit and the battery against manufacturing faults. Extended cover and advance-replacement terms are available for fleets — ask for them with the quotation, not after the first failure.
