Start from the deployment, not the device.

Each of these pages describes who actually makes the purchase, where the project usually stalls, and how the data moves from the first scan to the last report.

Retail & Chain Stores — working environment 01 RETAIL CHAIN

Retail & Chain Stores

Store systems that expect a scanner, running on hardware the store manager cannot break.

Warehouse & Logistics — working environment 02 WAREHOUSE

Warehouse & Logistics

From goods-in to dispatch, one device family that the WMS already talks to.

Courier, Parcel & Last-Mile — working environment 03 COURIER & LAST-MILE

Courier, Parcel & Last-Mile

A parcel changes hands four times before it reaches the door. The scan has to work at every one of them.

Seafood & Aquaculture Processing — working environment 05 SEAFOOD PROCESSING

Seafood & Aquaculture Processing

Salt water, ice slurry and 4am landings — the plant floor is a hostile data environment.

E-commerce Fulfilment & Distribution

Pick rates are a hardware problem before they are a software problem.

Hypermarkets & Wholesale

Tens of thousands of SKUs, from shelf edge to forklift — one device family covers the floor.

Cold Chain & Food — working environment 09 COLD CHAIN

Cold Chain & Food

Condensation, gloves and −25 °C. The device has to work before the operator takes it out of the freezer.

Pharma & Vaccine Cold Chain

2–8 °C end to end — and an audit trail for every minute of it.

Hazardous Areas & Industrial Radio

How we work

Three steps, no procurement theatre

01

You describe the workflow

Not the model. What is scanned, by whom, in what environment, and what the software already assumes.

02

We shortlist two models

With the accessory list and the integration caveats attached. If a cheaper unit does the job, we say so.

03

One unit, then a batch

Sample first. If it works, the batch ships from the same firmware line within 3–7 working days.

Common ground

The questions that apply to every deployment

Whatever the sector, these are the four that decide whether a rollout holds.

All questions
01Who is behind this site?
Bastion Rugged is the trading front of Bright Alliance Tech Limited, Shenzhen. We design and build rugged mobile hardware — barcode scanning, UHF RFID, NFC, biometric capture — and we sell it to system integrators and solution providers rather than to consumers. The tooling, PCB and antenna work happen with our own engineering team, not through a trading desk.
02What warranty do you give?
One year as standard, covering the unit and the battery against manufacturing faults. Extended cover and advance-replacement terms are available for fleets — ask for them with the quotation, not after the first failure.
03Are you the factory or a reseller?
Both, deliberately. We hold the product chain from mechanical design and tooling through PCB and antenna integration, and we also keep stock of the public models on this site. That means a sample ships this week from stock, while a custom build runs on the factory line behind it.
04What happens when a unit fails in the field?
We diagnose from the serial number and the fault description, then repair, replace or ship a spare — whichever gets the site running sooner. Our after-sales and software team is around thirty engineers, not a ticket queue.

Not sure which of these applies?

Describe the site and the software. We will tell you which failure mode you are about to run into.
