IRC390
Multimodal PoC / DMR intercom terminal
IRC390 carries two radios in one shell: a 4G PoC terminal for wide-area group calls, and a 4 W UHF / 5 W VHF DMR set for the sites where no network reaches. A dispatcher can patch both into the same talkgroup, so a crew moving between a covered yard and a dead zone never changes device. The 3.5-inch screen runs Android 10 with 4 GB + 64 GB, NFC handles patrol checkpoints, and the 1000-hour recording buffer keeps the traffic after the shift ends.

The shape this model is built around
Chassis, weight, pack and panel — the four numbers that decide whether a crew keeps the device in a hand or a holster all shift. Slim & light
What it does on the floor
Sealed against dust and water on the floor, not just in a lab.
Tested on the corners and edges that actually hit concrete.
Windows, Android or Linux build — confirmed against your app before dispatch.
Field-swappable packs and dock charging keep a shift running.

HOW IT IS USED
- Site-wide group calling on the PoC platform — dispatch console, talk-groups and one-to-many broadcast, no repeater hardware on the customer side.
- Fleet and field crews: drivers, security patrols and maintenance teams share one talk-group across cities, which a licensed radio link cannot cover without repeaters.
- Mixed-mode patrol: cellular PTT in town, DMR direct/repeater mode inside compounds where carriers have no signal.
- Solo/emergency: one-key PTT, lone-worker alarm and remote monitor are configured from the platform, not the handset.
- Android build managed through MDM — the WMS/ERP app ships as a managed package, kiosk-mode locks the device to the workflow app.
MARKETS & WHY
Vivo/Claro/TIM LTE on B3/B7/B28; ANATEL homologation available on request.
AT&T/Telcel on B2/B4/B5/B28 — all in the default band set.
B2/B4/B5/B28 coverage in cities, mining corridors and ports.
Telkomsel/Indosat on B1/B3/B8 + B40 in Java/Sulawesi; SDPPI type approval handled per shipment.
Globe/Smart on B1/B3/B5/B28/B41; island hopping suits PTT-over-cellular better than repeaters.
B1/B3/B8/B40(/B41) in the default set; local PoC platforms supported.
B1/B3/B8/B28(/B40); common in events, facilities and delivery fleets.
B1/B3/B7/B8(/B28); PTT replaces costly licensed VHF/UHF fleets.

WATCH-OUTS
- PoC quality follows the carrier, not the handset: check coverage maps for the exact work sites before rollout, not just the city.
- Data SIM vs voice SIM matters — some operators throttle PTT on voice-only plans; we ship data-optimised profiles on request.
- The PoC platform (Zello Work, TeamPTT or the client's own server) decides talk-group limits and dispatch features; confirm the API before batching.
- DMR frequencies need a local licence — the cellular side is licence-free, the direct mode is not.
- Check the Android security-update window against the project life in the quotation — a 5-year project on a 3-year update SKU leaves a gap.
WHAT TO PREPARE
- One data SIM per unit (local carrier or multi-IMSI roaming card for the pilot).
- PoC platform account with the talk-group plan — we onboard and pre-provision units before shipment.
- Charging: multi-unit cradles for shift fleets; vehicle docks with external antenna for driver crews.
- Dispatch console seat(s) — one PC login monitors the whole fleet.
Bands listed are the default SKUs for each market — final frequency/certification confirmation against the local operator is part of the quotation.
